Random girl text friend.?

This random girl text-ed my friend saying she wants to hang out with us tomorrow, on an island 20 minutes from the city. She sent picture of herself and my friend sent one back. She says shes bringing friends with her and they want to go to the beach. I think this whole thing is sketchy, what if.... if its a trap to be robbed or who knows what. I know I sound paranoid schizo here but, this just doesn't feel right, but he seems fine about it. Maybe he knew her from a few years back and she decided to call him up? She said shes bringing girlfriends with her. They want to meet us at the ferry, but i'm going to scout the place out first lol. Am I overreacting or what? To many horror movies? It just feels eerie. Girls never play this easy.
