So confused don't know what to do anymore?

My boyfriend and I have been together for six months. We attend the same college and we are currently on summer break. At the beginning of our break I would call at least twice or once a week. I felt like I was the only person in the relationship, he would never call me or write me on face book;and whenever I called he always gave the excuse that he was just about to call me. So I decided that I would stop calling him and wait for him to call me. Two weeks went by and he never called, I went on face book to find that I was single, he obviously dumped me. After a month I finally decided that I was ready to have closure so I sent him a facebook message stating how I notice I was not his gf on facebook anymore and how lame and childish it was for a boy in college to do something like that. He responded back saying that its just facebook and its not serious,that he has not heard from me in forever. I responded back saying okay but why does he feel the need to put he is single on facebook. He responded back aggressively re stating that its just facebook and its not serious, hes mad and hes done talking about it. I don't know what to do anymore. All i do is think about him and how much i hate him but yet i still want us to be together. I don't know what to do. Please help
