hold the throttle to the floor and it shuts off the injectors. yes the wiring harness can be removed. there is a 10mm bolt that holds a small clamp where the harness goes down into the case. you will need to drop the trans mount to get it out. the connector that goes down into the case goes all the way to the solenoid pack, about 4 or 5 inches.
