What does it mean if a guy calls you "shawty?"?

i have a crush on this adorable guy @ camp, and on the second day, he dubbed a kid with the nickname "Shorty in the Green" (short boy in a green shirt), then dubbed me w/ the nickname "Shawty in the Orange" =) (i was wearing an orange top). At first I thought he called me "Shorty in the Orange," but he then said ", I said shawty." He and I talk kinda a lot, and this morning he repeatedly called me by said nickname. But one of my girls is also into him, and she says he called her "Shawdy in the Blue," although I'm not sure if she is totally dubbed w/ said name. Does he like me, my friend, both of us, or not? thx =)
